In USA, monday brought many surprising news when the world's biggest mobile operator AT&T told their plan to buy T-Mobiles U.S. Title with 39 billion dollars.
If the transaction would be done, Verizon and AT&T would have nearly 80% share of the U.S. mobile phone market. Authorities may prevent the transaction, and complaints about the transaction will definitely be in record numbers.

ZTE planning to make windows phone
Chinese phonemaker ZTE has confirmed that they are planning to make windows phone. We can expect it hitting the market somewhere in 2012. ZTE's main focus is still in Android, but who knows what the future brings.

maemo 6 device coming? (N950)
So it might be clear to some but not to everyone, but before Nokia’s MeeGo device is actually released, a Harmattan device (aka Maemo 6) may be released first which will be compatible with MeeGo 1.2.
